The Rosyface were collected on our MI chapt. trip in May. They were in
spawning color and full of eggs. I put them in a 15 gal. with 1" dia. gravel
filling about 6" of the tank under the whisper filter output. The rest of the
tank had reg. aquarium gravel. There was a large clump of Java move to
provide cover. Two weeks after putting them in the tank they spawned 100's of
non-adhesive eggs the eggs hatched in 2 days. Put the fry in a 2 gal. with
lots of green water. after several days started feeding newly hatched brine
shrimp. Easy to raise have only kept 10 or 12 about 5/8" long now.
