Continuing on my algae control problem, I decided to try a "bigger is
better" approach with snails, so I bought a couple of ramshorn snails hoping
they are darter-proof. In the pet store, I noticed a tank with some
"flounders". They were small (nickel-size) hogchokers, and I bought two.
I'm guessing they'll take a diet of frozen brine and bloodworms plus flake
food that falls to the bottom. Anyone ever keep small hogchokers?
