Hello,

This coming March I am planning on heading down to Sebring, FL to do my
annual fishing trip. What I would like to know, if possible, is some good
places to going fishing and collecting. Below is a list of Lakes I have
found that will be in my general area while in Sebring. Any information
about fishing in lakes and collecting in the streams around the lakes would
be much appreciated.

South of Sebring:

Lake June
Lake Istokpoga
Lake Okeechobee (though, I heard it was having quite a bit of trouble
lately....)
Lake Placid

North of Sebring (near Orlando):

Lake Kissimee
Lake Jackson
Reedy Lake (quite small on the map)

Please help if you can. Remember, I am up for most kinds of finishing and
any kind of collecting. I will be bringing along my seine and a dipnet. I
hope to catch some pygmy sunfish while collecting if there is any that far
north into Florida so if anyone knows any hotspots for them that would also
be helpful.

Thank you,

Henry Deford
Owings Mills, MD

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
