there was an article in the Atlanta Journal today about the newly named
director of the new aquarium.
I emailed the reporter of that article and here is the question and her
answer:
_____________
<russellmcgraw> Do you have any information on what type of fishes will
be exhibited? (I'm hoping for at least some native S.E
critters)

"Shelia Poole" <spoole_at_ajc.com> not sure, but they promise a wide
variety.
_____________

hmmmmmm......a wide variety.

so, Steven, there you have it.

by the way, since you seem to be willing to travel around to see new and
exciting fish things, have you ever been to the fish hatchery in Warm
Springs? I assume it's still there and if so, they used to have several
small (100gal) aquariums with natives in them. I especially remember the
albino catfish....
