I have had four Noturus (and three other catfishes) species
throughout my fish days. All of my catfishes, except one (Fred the
flathead) adapted fairly quickly (less than one month), and would
venture out with the lights on. The only time I would see the
flathead with any sort of lighting, would be when I would watch the
Simpsons.
