So we're all sitting around after destroying a very large bird, groaning about how we ate too much can I have another piece of pumpkin pie... And my Father-in-Law's Father-in-Law says "So, what all did you catch a few weeks back?" I began to explain how we viewed 20 some such species and realized he had no idea what I was talking about. So I began to attempt the game of familiarity (we caught some bass, some bluegill, rockbass... you know what a sunfish looks like? Have you ever seen a sucker? etc) and explained a seine and so forth. He seemed to be drawing blanks, but was very interested... So I asked if there was an "Internet Connection In tha House?"

At 76 years young, I showed him his first glimpse of the Internet and a Rainbow Darter all in one sitting. Phew.

Not only was he suprised that I could catch something as beautiful as that right in that "crick o'r there", I think he was more impressed that I could type in some words and then show him exactly what it was :)

Man I love the Internet.
