I'm sorry, I tend to use "techie" shorthand (lots of symbols,
acronyms, smileys, etc.) in my other email and newsgroup
communications. I try not to on the NANFA list, but, I slip
up sometimes.
As an example: On some newsgroups, they may simply exclaim
"JPG!" which means "Hey, post a digital picture so we can also
see what you are talking about!"
