I was surprised that they don't chase one another around but they do push the other out of their rock caves. Normally if you've got two sunfish in a tank of any specie one dominates over the other. My advice if you are starting off is to have 1 or if you're wanting more, 3 or more so you don't have one hazing the other to death. Lance's rule of 3's =)

Orangespots are pretty shy for a long while untill they get used to being in a tank. The initial shock of being in the aquarium is the only real problem I've had with them unless you've got bad luck like me and the electrical appliances on the tank leak electricty in the aquarium for months or another instance the bottom of my aquarium cracked and 10 gallons of water went through my ceiling while I was sleeping and I woke up to a dead orangespot sunfish =P , but they are good fish, stay small, look cool, and got good personalities.
^In that last link the white one is the one that went through the elecrical therapy =/
I actually think warmouth are the easiest to take care of but you'll need a much larger aquarium to hold more than one.

I've never kept either the dollar or the orangespotted, but from what I've
read, they're pretty similar. Someone else on the list might be able to
offer some insight.
