NANFA-- Poecilia sphenops in Texas

One of the livebearer reference books I have says Poecilia sphenops is found
in Mexico and Texas, in coastal waters.

However, my Peterson's guide doesn't list this species in the U.S.

Does anyone know whether P. sphenops is found along the Texas coast? The
book shows a picture of a blue, short finned male molly which it describes
as P. sphenops.

Thanks.

Bob
