I'm sure you've probably thought of this but just in case..., have you
tried a different bucket? Perhaps the bucket or some other piece of your
collecting gear is contaminated with something silversides are particularly
sensitive to.>>
I don't think that bucket contamination is the problem since I keep about 20
buckets available at all times. I take groups of kids out sampling aquatic
inverts and other critters and have to maintain lots of equipment. All of
the buckets are treated the same and I can't imagine that I have had the
misfortune to get the same "contaminated" bucket every time that I tried to
bring in silversides. Thanks for the thought though. Any others?
