You may have a problem getting the glass to bond with the acrylic. Acryilic
resins melt the acrylic together. Silicone adhears two pieces of glass.
Getting the two to stick initially would be easy using silicone but it most
likely won't last for long. Silicone does not work well with acrylic.

I was thinking last night that an acrylic/glass viewer might just rock.
Have
the back blue or black acrylic, the sides and bottom acrylic, and the front
glass so you have something you can bang around, but not get scratched up
where you want it clear.

Anyone ever worked with acrylic before? I'd certainly buy one before I
figured out how to make one <hint><hint><hint> ;)
