NANFA--World Water Monitoring Day

Several of you indicated that you planned to participate (or had already
participated) in World Water Monitoring Day. A few requests for those of
you who did:

1. Data collection "window" ended on 18 Oct 2003, but you have until 05 Dec
2003 to enter your data. Please do not forget.

2. If you would like to send me a picture or two and a few sentences about
your trip, I will be happy to write a short article for American Currents.

3. Two Corps of Engineers newsletters are planning an article on WWMD. I
would like to report that "partnering" with NANFA resulted in expanded
geographic coverage. If those of you who sampled could send me a fast email
telling me the number of sites, the drainages, and states, I would be able
to use the information.
