100 years ago they clear cut my entire state you still can see stump fields.
In the cedar swamp on my property up north I have a 10 foot diameter whit
cedar stump most cedars now are lucky to be 12 inches. We lost the grayling
from the damage that the rivers took. I also do a lot of wood working but we
know so much more now. There is no reason way we can't use our brains as we
harvest trees.
