Just about everyone except Jay failed to
mention probably the most important
skill that we learn from math. That is it
teaches us to think in a logical and progressive manner and it develops
problem solving abilities which we could all use more of.

If you go on to college (hopefully), you
will find many things you need math for.
Should you take or be forced to take any
chemistry courses I guaranty you will have to have math to pass.

Again it teaches you a way of thinking
and thinking is not bad especially in
today's society. More people should practice doing it.
