More likely a new location record rather than a new species (the latter of
which a photo would be of little value anyway, right?).
How about a place for a photo of the location?
It could also be a good way to record and share information in a standard
format. You guys who regularly go out could use it to compare conditions
between visits, years, whatever. Over time you'd have a way to see and
share trends and changes, and share that information with the rest of us,
with data in a standard format, rather than stories and recollections :-)
