> Sounds like fun Rob, I wanna go again soon !!! What about you, Saj?
I'd love to.
btw, I have a fish (courtesy of NANFA member Ron Humbert) which I think is
the longnose shiner. It has the sub-terminal mouth, eyes which it waggles
back and forth, odd triangular shaped dorsal (it's end is straight sort of
like the Rough Shiner), thick dark stripe all the way down to the
deeply notched tail. It has an odd habit of resting on the rocks and the
gravel on it's pelvic and anal fins. Not a fast or graceful swimmer.
Any idea what it is?
(I tried to take pictures, but, it was shy!)
