Wearing waders would be a death wish around here. Nothing like being
strapped in as you're going down!
F. blairae are fairly common (I'm told) if you know where to look. I
found them once before in the tall emersed
plants of a slough. Real soft bottom. Has any one noticed if the
condition of the fish in midsummer collecting is decidedly
worse than that of fish collected in the spring?
