Handbook of Freshwater Fishery Biology, Volume 2, by Kenneth D. Carlander
has a lot of information on this for smallmouth bass and other centrarchids
in the wild. Overall means given by age are:

Age 0 79 mm
Age 1 166 mm
Age 2 227 mm
Age 3 267 mm
Age 4 302 mm
Age 5 330 mm
Age 6 360 mm
