That's cool, a split decision on the waders... I'm not surprised that you
would find inland silversides at your reported location. That whole area of
the Tennessee around Lake Pickwick is the result of impoundments and various
other river alterations, so even though it might not be the historic range
of inlands, plenty of things could have happened to introduce them.

And if you're ever passing by on Highway 72 in Huntsville, it runs right
alongside the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus. Call up the
Biological Sciences Department and ask for me, hopefully I'm around!
