I have not found any air pumps that would satisfy running alot of sponge
filters, ug's or other air driven devices, other than the piston pump, or a
blower. I was trying to find the link to WAKO's web site which has plans to
build a cheap blower pump, but it seems the AKA server may be down. Supra's
,Whisper and Second Nature brands are all good pumps. Getting one with dual
outlets and making a loop with the airline seems to work best. I find though
that any diaphragm pump just doesn't have the oomph needed, and they wear
out quickly when over worked.
