NANFA-- Elassoma diet

Anyone here been able to get Elassoma to eat flake food on a regular basis?
I've always considered them to be, at best, reluctant feeders on anything
that doesn't move, and it has to at least be good quality frozen foods to
get them to take non-living stuff (although I have seen them occasionally
pig out on frozen bloodworm when it falls just in front of them).
Dry foods have always been a no-no to me, but if there is anyone who can say
otherwise I'd be glad to hear it.
This is just so I get my facts right from the people who know.
Pete.
