The second photo is, in this case, from a different angle and shows how deep
bodied the animal was.
That is a very perceptive observation about how different it looks from
multiple perspectives though!

I appreciate a tiny bit what can be done with photos. Once extended a group
photo. We lost 20 pounds each and grew 6 inches.

some photographic artifacts that have exaggerated the depth of the fish.
The photo appears to have been scrunched up. I have accidentally done that
with some of my photos, especially in powerpoint. These artifacts certainly
make an ID difficult.
