Why a DC air pump? You can get a small DC - AC convertor that plugs into
your cigarette lighter and then run any airpump you want. The convertor
that I got for about $25.00 is rated for 70 watts and continous duty.
When i go collecting i use a Supra II pump to run small filters in the
holding containers. The Supra only uses 6 watts.
