Yes, we are very fortunate to have many very colorful and unique species in
the North American hemisphere. While the African, South American, Asian, and
Australian continents all have their own unique and colorful species, I
maintain that our own species can rival any or all, when in breeding
coloration!

I have never seen a fish so bright as a Tennessee dace, a Rainbow Darter or
Rainbow Shiner when in full breeding coloration......or so subtle as a
Bluehead shiner and so gorgeous as a full-blown male Bluenose shiner...

It's so hard to choose, but we should all strive to protect all of them.

Just blown away, forever!
