Left Arkansas for the far north woods of Wisconsin on
the 21st . On the 20th I had one last visit to both
Sugar Loaf Creek west and Crooked Creek at Yellville .
Very sad to think I will never collect these 2 fine
creeks again . Both were in top condition . Crooked
creek had cleared at last with depth of hip to chest
at most and visibility to the bottom . Sugar loaf was
a little low but very clear . First morning in
Wisconsin I scraped ice off of the windshield of the
old 73 Chevy PU . Now I know Im back in the land of
ice and snow for sure . Not done unpacking yet but
will be contacting some Wisconsin people soon .
