One day I was collecting with my then teenage son, he was 15 and thought he
was bullet proof. We were wading in the swamp and he stepped into quicksand and
went in up to his neck almost instantly. He went from tough guy leading his
decrepit Dad through the swamp to "help me daddy" in a blink of an eye. He was
wearing waders and I almost had to hook my jeep up to him to pull him out. It
was a classic moment for sure, to bad I didn't have a camera I could have put
it in on of those home video shows!
