Hmm... I don't know if a mason jar works well as a natural setting for the
mount ;)

I think a graphite reproduction would be appropriate. Yeap. Graphite.
Just get one of the "drips" off a bass reproduction, take a dremel to it,
and you're golden.

By the way, a week ago, I think we caught the state record least darters.

These puppies were pushing 45 mm! Absolute monsters!

I also didn't realize that the male's anal fin gets "tippecanoe orange"
during spawning. Pretty neat. I'm a dork though, and of course, forgot my
camera ;)
