I thought darker buckets help the fish retain their color. Also, =
darker
buckets help calm the fish and reduce stress.
I bought dark buckets and noticed the fish, or water really, get =
hotter quicker in the summer,-in-least in this hot area.

Which is what I observed with my black camera bag tucked away under =
willows in "the shade" of the September Ohio sun, and why I anecdotally =
would never consider putting fish in a black bucket. Esp considering my =
degenerative habit of not paying attention to where "the ones in the =
basket" are, and just running off looking for more ;) =20
In any case, I intend to quantify the stress or lack of stress as =
degrees temperature than "color" and "calm", which is as much my core =
argument now as anyone's, over the summer.
