G'day folks

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has kept Hybognathus or
Macrhybopsis in fish tanks? I've been keeping them a little bit in
Oklahoma, but it seems as if no one really messes with either genus much
in captivity. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with them.

Secondly, relative to salinity, does anyone have any specific experience
with what salinities kill most cyprinids? I'm not talking about odd ball
minnows that live specifically in salty places, but the run of the mill
minnow that lives in freshwater. I'm sure there is some stuff in the
literature (which I haven't tried searching for). I'm just wondering if
anyone has any specific experiences with salt and minnows.

Also, many folks who collect fish often add salt to the water to reduce
stress when transporting/collecting them. How much salt do people
typically add?

Cheers
