I've kept and even had skillet fish bred in an aquarium but mine were from
the East coast and the egg site was so secluded I hesitate to really make that
claim. But I did get some planktonic fish and skillet fish were the only
known fish in the tank-in-the time. I would be very interested in freshwater
skillet fish, the ones I had came from a rock out cropping-in-Fort Fisher, NC and
were definitely marine.
