I don't know if they are the same in eating habits, but my Bluegill sunfish
eats anything after being in a feeding school of Convict cichlids. Incidentally
are you referring to redeye as another name for Rock Bass? If so, the analogy
may not be valid. Redear sunfish are not normally found in PA.
