NANFA-L-- New stuff on our Web site!

To all NANFA members and native fish enthusiasts:

The new convention t-shirt isn't the only cool, new thing on our Web site. Slowly but surely we've been adding some exciting new content.

For notes on captive care and propagation, check out:

http://www.nanfa.irg/bcccaptivecare.shtml

Yes, the coverage is woefully incomplete. But it's the beginning of what we hope will be a major and unprecedented resource for both amateur and professional aquarists, as well as researchers who need to maintain live fishes in the lab.

The NANFA Conservation Research Grant page has been updated:

http://www.nanfa.org/research.shtml

So has the Corcoran Education Grant page:

http://www.nanfa.org/corcoran.shtml

Content is still in development for the Fishwatching and Collecting page, but at least it no longer says "This portion of the site is under construction." :-)

Also, we've revised and updated the NANFA "welcome" brochure (now in color). Download a PDF of it from here:

http://www.nanfa.org/misc/welcometonanfa.pdf

There's so much more we want to add and revise, and so many ways we want to expand coverage, but we're limited by personnel and hours in the day. If you're HTML proficient and would like to help, please give us a holler!

Comments? Corrections? Suggestions or ideas for new material? Send 'em my way.

Thanks muchly,

Christopher Scharpf
