Peter:

I've had NO leakage with Coleman coolers. To be on the
safe side, I've occasionally transported the coolers inside
large tubs available at WalMart and the like. I've only
done this when transporting coolers full of fishes inside
Anne's Honda CRV, only because she feared spills or
leakage.

If you've got concerns, I recommend this procedure highly.
I assume I've had no problems because a) the Coleman
coolers, in my experience, do not leak at all, b) I fill them
only about 2/3 full, and c) I stay aware of the "sloshing"
problem, and am wary of sudden accelleration or braking.
By putting the cooler inside a slightly larger tub, there's
no risk at all. At least that's my experience.

Bob
