Great pictures! Several years ago I was lucky enough to witness Longnose gar
spawning and was able to pick some eggs up to hatch. The eggs hatched and
the fry were able to eat mosquito larvae from the first day of free
swimming. I also learned that they can go from an egg to a 24" tank buster
in as little as 8 months. Given plenty of space and food they will grow
quickly.
