I have that problem with a 12 inch pickerel in a 20 gallon long tank that is
12 inches wide. Would softer plastic be better? I know it needs a bigger tank
but that will have to wait a bit until I can shuffle some others. The problem
is the pickerel corners the feeder fish in a corner and hits the glass. It
probably wouldn't make any difference in a 100 gallon rectangular tank and my
round pool has no cover. The last time I tried that the pickerel jumped out. I
need to make a screen cover I guess.
