Robert,
A lot depends on where you're going and the species you plan on keeping. You need to research the area where you're going and know which species found there are likely to adapt to captivity (Hint: DON'T KEEP POMPANO). Don't just keep everything you collect without knowing what it's requirements are. While this list is a great source of information, you should have some prior knowledge of what these fish need before you ever plan on collecting them. Don't overstock your containers.
