Hey, thanks for the report, Andrew. I learned something new. FYI, I've collected across the River-in-Indian Head, and only got banded killies.

No, they are mummichogs. We did catch some banded killies too, though. The exact collecting spot was the boat launch (!) beach-in-Mason Neck State Park. We also caught darters, silversides, and little catfish. Mason Neck is in the tidal freshwater area of the Potomac.
