Hi Geoff,

Let's see if Nanfans from the area will take the
challenge.

I have no place and time in my mind. Other species may
be the brachisk cyprinodonts, bu tBob knows better. I
can easily adjust to other people schedule. Syngnathus
is termophilous so after April-May it will be fine.
Probably the species breeding season will start in
June.

I have no knowledge of locations in the area.

Seegrass beds will be a clear target. I do have the
SAV maps, but that's all I have (however, it may be
suficient for just searching). We may need a little
boat or something if grass beds are not accesible from
the shore.

So the call was mostly for those who know places
around. Chris mentioned once Grasonville.
I have some references for the local Hippocampus
erectus, but this will require boats and some little
snorkeling. I have an obssesion for Syngnathus since I
published the first photos of S. nigrolineatus
breeding sequences in captivity. Geez, this was
sometime in the last century, if I remember well.

I hope Bob, Chris and the local clan will participate
or help.

It was easier back home in Europe. Distances were
shorter and you can get your freshwater pipefishes
after a 3 hr drive and 15 min of freezing your walnuts
into the water. Oooh, Amerika is too big for my little
expeditions...hahahahaha...love it thou...

Gents, let's do it !
