regarding tn snubs...
several years ago i was snorkeling in i think it was a trib of the south
harpeth, i believe it was sw of nashville. very pretty clear water. a local
fella said that certain times of year they caught "candy minners" out of it. :)
i was playing and gently clearing the substrate and little snubnoses were
gathering and investigating my activity. as i peered down upon them their heads
turned green... before my eyes. i inquired of david et about them and he
quickly said they were a cumberland subspecies and do believe that is discussed
in his book.
pretty cool.
i have often wanted to return there.
