Whoa ..........!! Really? When? If true, I'd like to use it as an
example of gross stupidity and ignorance where wildlife is concerned.
This, if true, is worse than the guy in Texas a few years back who shot
dead an albino red-tailed hawk that had been nesting with the same mate
for several years on a tree along a highway north of Beeville, TX. He
killed the bird, put it into the back of his pick-up, and took it to
town, where he showed it off and bragged about it. Cost him a couple
of thousand and some public service eventually. Not nearly enough, imo.
