I won't be in FL-in-the time, but thought I might lend a suggestion for the
portable collecting equipment. Jonah's Aquarium sells a dipnet that can be
broken down into sections. You can choose the total length of the net as
well as the length of the sections. I have used this system to transport a
dipnet out of the country a few times. It will fil into a suitcase this was
and I have never had any issues with it-in-the airport.

Just a suggestion.

Jane, Cameron, and I will be in the Tampa, FLA area from April 11 to the
18th.
I haven't worked out the logistics of getting collecting equipment to Fla.
and
back or of getting fish home, yet. I'd like to hear from anyone who will be
in
the area-in-that time and would like to do some collecting.
