That was how much my swamp darters cost me too :-) I think there were seminole killies in the tank as well, but the darn kid couldnt catch them (seriuosly how fast can a fish move in a 10 gallon tank?). I love glass shrimp now. I am off to Petco today too to see if there are any glass shrimp tanks. One of the LFS in Cookeville also has had various native catfish species, and gar recently. I figure this is my easiest way to get Bluefins that I have been craving for so long too!

i had to put up a sign across town last night and afterwards had a bit of
time to burn so i hit all the pet stores on the way home.
i picked up a delicate blue fin killie for the price of a glass shrimp.
a pair of really large ( glass? ) shrimp oddly marked w/ pinstripes.
and the big prize a neatly golden patterned seminole killie for free.

all rescued from the feeder tanks.

i left the everpresent gambusia behind. :)
