Both Maine and New Hampshire have cities named Portsmouth, and the article
said Portsmouth N.H.

Actually, I'm quite surprised the game wardens went out of their way to take
the fish to NH so the guy could buy them back.

I almost guarantee if it were my state, Maryland, DNR would have destroyed
the fish, pronto. Not Koi of course, but you all know about our Snakehead
invasion, DNR now does not mess around with illegal fish, they kill 'em.

Kind of OT, if I go to an Asian restuarant with an aquarium, and it is not
maintained to my satisfaction I usually leave. Pissed my wife off a number
of times! :-)
