ive been snorkeling w/ some "tn snubnoses" over near the harpeth river. this
was years ago when i was first beginning. the stream was pristinene and a
local fella was on the bank w/ his kids and telling me of catching "candy
minnows" during the spring. :)
lots of cool stuff in this small clear creek. i remember seeing studfish too.
as i was disturbing the substrate and watching the fish come over and
investigate i observed several "tn snubnoses" turn their heads to bright green
before my eyes! i asked david etnier and he said they were a cumberland "sub
species" version of what i thought were tn snubs.
very neat seeing their heads and noses turn green before my eyes.
