Do you guys remember a product on the shelves several years ago called
"Magic Ocean?" This was a calcium based stuff, possibly calcium
chloride, which allowed freshwater and saltwater fish to be kept
together in the same tank. Luckily, it wasn't very popular and it died a
quiet death. Still, it would have been nifty for demonstrating
osmoregulation in a classroom.
