I have just received said book and it is very attractive -- the color photographs, presumably taken in aquaria with live specimens (though that can be faked) are very nice. In terms of layout and coverage, the book is closer to Mettee's Alabama book than to Mayden's.

BTW, the book was partially funded by the Electric Power Research Institute, South Carolina Electric and Gas, the Westinghouse Savannah River Company, and the U.S. Dept. of Energy, in addition to the Univ. of GA and the Univ. of SC.

And, as always, it's nice to see American Currents cited in the bibliography.
