hey chuck...
i had flag fish in my cement pond and in bottle tanks in the house.
they seem to do fine withour airation in the bottle tanks.
the water in the cement pond here in chattanooga hit about 90 last year but
fish can swim down into cooler water. i think they can deal w/ warm temps
fine.
cold temps kill them tho.
a fun fish to observe while snorkeling in the pool. very sunfishy. lots of
displaying, neat color and chasing about.
i had about 6 in the pool last summer and fall... but i have not seen them
since winter. i keep hoping i will but very much suspect they died in the
winter.
