Eagle Scout Project
Donation Request Letter
May 2006

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I am asking for a
donation to fund my Eagle Scout Project. My name is Cobalt W. Cox of Boy Scout Troop
69 in Chattanooga, TN. For my Eagle Scout Project I have decided upon
designing and building an educational sign structure that will display information,
photos and graphics of the Native Fishes of South Chickamauga Creek. It will
be placed in Audubon Acres, a 130 acre wildlife refuge and educational
center. It will be located next to the swinging bridge on the bank of South
Chickamauga Creek. The 4' x 8' post mounted display will help educate the public
about the Native Fish that live in the creek, past Native American uses and
current threats to the environment. To begin construction of the project I will
need donations to buy the materials. If you decide as an individual to donate
25 dollars then your name will be printed on the graphic. If enough money is
raised a park bench and roof will be added to the structure, and if
additional funds still remain then a duplicate graphic will be framed and installed
inside the Audubon Acres Visitor Center.
Thank you, I appreciate your time and donation.

Sincerely,
Cobalt Cox.
