Like all other fish at the top of the food chain, the accumulation of
mercury, PCBs and dioxins there will be a cautionary warning about eating these or
any other fish. See some Virginia guidelines at

Unfortunately, it suggests that you eat fewer fish and that will have
less affect on the snakeheads.
