Okay, okay, so they're not all three genera.... believe it or not, I
couldn't find a genus with 7 in it.

But, lets not forget the point of a haiku
It's not to come up with a bunch of words or phrases in a 5,7,5 pattern, but
instead to come up with a single thought, sentence, or expression in 17
syllables. Each block is to express something -- the 5,7,5 pattern is
secondary (which is why you sometimes have a sentence broken midstream).

The king fisher flies
Over the still moonlit lake
Seeking tasty prey.

It conveys a single image.

The three words above, while fitting the rules of a Haiku convey no image...
You'll have forgotten it by to-morrow (heck, do you remember them now?) The
image of a king fisher, though, is a bit more memorable... or the one quoted
here several times:

As the spring rains fall
soaking in them, on the roof,
is a child's rag ball

That's lasting.

Now, the swinging bridge
Is quietted wiht creepers
Like our tendrilled life.
